Summary of the Role
As a Senior Food Quality Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring that all food products meet set quality and safety standards. Your role will involve conducting regular inspections, audits and tests to guarantee that all food items are safe for consumption and comply with local and international regulations. This position requires a strong understanding of food science, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

Certification in quality auditing (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Auditor) is highly desirable.
Experience with auditing and certification processes of food quality management systems.
Strong knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Willingness to travel to various production sites as required.
Responsibilities
Conduct detailed inspections of food processing and packaging facilities to ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
Implement and oversee audit processes to identify areas for improvement in the food production cycle.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and institute quality control policies and procedures.
Lead training sessions for facility staff on food safety and quality standards.
Report findings to management and regulatory authorities, and follow up on corrective actions.
Stay current with food safety regulations and industry trends to ensure ongoing compliance.
Participate in supplier evaluations and certify their quality management systems.
Prepare and maintain detailed reports of all audits conducted for future reference and audits.
Assess customer complaints to identify any potential quality issues in the production process.
Serve as the expert consultant for internal and external stakeholders regarding food quality and safety matters.
