Summary of the Role
The Inventory Analyst will be responsible for monitoring and predicting inventory levels, analyzing inventory data, and making recommendations for optimizing inventory control. Working knowledge of basic finance and accounting principles.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities
Analyze inventory levels and product demand to determine reorder timing and quantity.
Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile discrepancies.
Work with warehouse staff to ensure proper stock rotation and storage.
Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices.
Collaborate with procurement team to forecast inventory needs and manage supplier relations.
Generate and maintain various reports related to inventory status, turns, and aging.
Assist in conducting physical inventories and cycle counts.
Analyze supply chain logistics and make recommendations to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
