Summary of the Role
As a Vehicle Acoustics Engineer, you will be responsible for the development, design, and testing of acoustic components and systems within automotive vehicles. You will apply your expertise in sound analysis and vibration to ensure that vehicles meet sound quality and noise level standards. Working in a cross-functional team, you will collaborate with other engineers and designers to create a comfortable and acoustically pleasant environment for vehicle occupants.
Required Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in acoustical simulation software like LMS Test.Lab, ANSYS, or COMSOL
Skilled in the use of measurement equipment such as microphones and accelerometers
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Acoustics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
2-5 years of relevant experience in automotive acoustics or a related industry
Experience with acoustic simulation and measurement tools
Familiarity with vehicular noise regulations and standards
Proven track record of successful project management
