Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Completion of a bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) or an associate degree in nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program.
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
Ability to work effectively in high-stress situations.
Responsibilities
Provide immediate and effective medical care to trauma patients.
Assess patients' condition and implement critical interventions.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to formulate treatment plans.
Monitor patient vital signs and symptoms, adjusting treatment as needed.
Educate patients and their families on injury prevention and treatment processes.
Assist with patient transport, including preparing patients for aerial or ground transport to tertiary facilities if necessary.
