Summary of the Role
As a Security Solutions Architect, you will take on a leadership role in designing and implementing comprehensive IT security solutions to protect the organization's data and IT infrastructure. You will work closely with IT teams and business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into effective security architectures. This role requires extensive knowledge of security principles, IT systems, and the latest security technologies, as well as the ability to communicate complex security concepts to a non-technical audience.

Deep understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization, and security
Proficient in security system design and infrastructure
Knowledge of network and web related protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP, IPSEC, HTTP, HTTPS, routing protocols)

Project management skills and experience
Qualifications
Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a security architect role or similar
Holding professional security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar
Experience with cloud security architectures and best practices
Proven track record of successful implementation of comprehensive security solutions
In-depth knowledge of IT security frameworks and standards like NIST, ISO 27001
Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements relevant to data security and privacy
Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of security architectures for IT projects
Evaluate business strategies and requirements to determine security systems that meet or exceed industry standards
Collaborate with IT and business teams to integrate security solutions into the overall IT architecture
Assess current IT environments and make recommendations to improve security
Stay abreast of new security technologies and integrate them into security architectures as appropriate
Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures
Provide guidance and leadership to junior security team members
Adapt to changes in the security landscape and be proactive in recommending security enhancements
