Summary of the Role
As a Senior Crop Protection Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing integrated pest management strategies to protect agricultural crops from a variety of pests, diseases, and weeds. Your expertise in agronomy, entomology, plant pathology, and weed science will be essential in creating environmentally sustainable and economically viable crop protection solutions.

Experience with integrated pest management principles and techniques.
Responsibilities
Lead the development of crop protection plans and pest management strategies.
Conduct field diagnostics to identify pest, disease, and weed pressures.
Collaborate with researchers and agronomists to evaluate the efficacy of crop protection products.
Train and mentor junior specialists and field staff in pest identification and management techniques.
Manage trials and experiments to test new pesticides, herbicides, and other plant protection products.
Provide technical expertise and recommendations to farmers and agricultural businesses.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing pesticide use and environmental stewardship.
Analyze data and prepare reports on crop health and the impact of protection measures.
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends, technologies, and regulations in crop protection.
