Summary of the Role
As a Marine Electrician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment on boats, ships, and other marine vessels. This role requires a deep understanding of marine electrical standards and the ability to troubleshoot and solve electrical issues in a challenging marine environment.

Qualifications

Experience with using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Familiarity with safety procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE) related to electrical work.
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair marine electrical systems and equipment.
Conduct routine inspections and perform preventative maintenance to ensure vessel safety and compliance with regulations.
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical malfunctions, using various testing devices and tools.
Collaborate with other technical staff to coordinate repair and installation activities.
Follow safety procedures and regulations specific to the marine industry.
Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals.
Document all maintenance and repair work, including keeping logs for inspection purposes.
