Summary of the Role
The Cost Accountant is responsible for performing accounting functions related to cost accounting, budgeting, and inventory valuation. This role will involve analyzing financial data to assist the company in making strategic decisions, and ensuring that costs for products and services are accurate and compliant with legal standards.

Responsibilities
Implementing cost standards for materials and labor.
Designing and implementing internal reporting systems to monitor business operations and costs.
Preparing and analyzing cost reports and monthly closing documents.
Collaborating with department heads to ensure cost proposals are accurate.
Conducting audits on financial reports and cost accounts.
Managing company's inventory valuation and control procedures.
Assisting in month-end and year-end accounting processes.
