Summary of the Role
As an Automotive Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing wiring and electronic components in motor vehicles. The right candidate will have an in-depth understanding of automotive electrical systems and the ability to work with various diagnostic equipment to identify issues and ensure that vehicles function efficiently and safely.

Certification from a recognized automotive institution is a plus.
Responsibilities
Inspect and test electrical and electronic systems in vehicles to diagnose issues.
Install new electrical components and equipment in vehicles.
Repair or replace faulty wiring, and electronic components such as alternators, starters, and electronic fuel injection systems.
Conduct routine maintenance and servicing to prevent future electrical issues.
Read and interpret electrical and electronic schematics and diagrams.
Work closely with other technicians to ensure comprehensive vehicle servicing.
Keep detailed records of serviced vehicles and work carried out.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment in accordance with industry standards.
