Summary of the Role
This role involves contributing to the design, development, testing, and deployment of UAV systems used in a variety of applications such as surveillance, agriculture, search and rescue, and environmental monitoring. The ideal candidate will possess a foundational understanding of UAV technology and be motivated to learn and grow within the field.
Required Skills
Basic knowledge of programming languages such as C++, Python, or Java.
Understanding of embedded systems and microcontrollers.
Practical experience with UAV operation and piloting is a plus.
Good communication skills, both written and oral.
Aptitude for learning new technologies.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
Understanding of UAV systems and principles, such as aerodynamics, flight controls, and propulsion.
Familiarity with CAD software and simulation tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities
Assist in the design and development of UAV systems, including aerodynamics, propulsion, and control systems.
Support the testing and evaluation of UAV prototypes and sub-systems.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to integrate sensors, payloads, and software into UAV platforms.
Help to troubleshoot and resolve issues with UAV designs and field operations.
Contribute to the documentation of UAV system specifications and technical reports.
Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulations concerning UAVs.
