Summary of the Role
The Transmission Engineer will play a crucial role in the planning, design, and operation of power transmission systems. With a focus on ensuring reliable and efficient electricity distribution, the senior engineer will oversee complex projects, provide technical guidance, and drive innovative solutions to enhance grid stability.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable.
Demonstrated experience in high-voltage transmission system design, operation, and maintenance.
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards such as NERC, FERC, and IEEE.
Proven ability to lead and manage engineering projects from inception to completion.
Responsibilities
Design and evaluate transmission system components such as towers, conductors, and insulators.
Develop project plans and specifications for new transmission lines and substation projects.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project compliance with regulations and reliability standards.
Lead failure analysis investigations and provide resolutions for transmission system issues.
Optimize transmission system performance through advanced modeling and analysis.
Manage technical aspects of contract execution, including vendor and contractor selection.
Participate in the development and implementation of industry standards for power transmission.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and technical staff.
