Summary of the Role
We are seeking an experienced X-ray Equipment Specialist to maintain and repair our sophisticated diagnostic imaging equipment. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in medical imaging technology, particularly with X-ray systems, and is expected to ensure all equipment is functioning properly, safely, and complies with health regulations.

Experience with digital imaging and networking in a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
Conduct regular maintenance and calibration of X-ray equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
Troubleshoot and repair any issues with X-ray machinery, minimizing downtime and ensuring continuous availability for patient care.
Collaborate with radiologists and technicians to understand their needs and provide technical support for imaging procedures.
Stay updated on the latest industry standards and regulations concerning diagnostic imaging equipment.
Develop and implement a routine inspection schedule to preemptively address potential equipment failures.
Lead training sessions for medical staff on proper use and safety procedures for handling X-ray equipment.
Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers for replacement parts and manage inventory of essential components.
Document all maintenance and repair activities in adherence with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
