Summary of the Role
The Agricultural Market Research Analyst is responsible for collecting and interpreting data, formulating reports and making recommendations based upon the research findings within the agriculture sector. To accomplish this task, the Analyst works with the client or business to understand, define and document the overarching business object.
Required Skills
Proficiency in statistical analysis software (SAS, SPSS, R, etc.).
Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Knowledge of data collection methods (polls, focus groups, surveys, etc.).
Ability to interpret complex data and turn it into actionable recommendations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agriculture, Economics, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in market research or a related area, preferably within the agriculture sector.
Strong understanding of the agricultural industry and related markets.
Experience with statistical analysis and research methodologies.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
