Qualifications
Current registration and nursing license in applicable jurisdiction.

Certification in radiology nursing (CRN) or willingness to obtain within a specified time frame.
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing, with substantive experience in a radiology department.
Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work independently.
Strong clinical skills and knowledge in radiology nursing and patient care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
Assess and monitor patients before, during, and after radiologic procedures.
Administer and document medications as required for patient care in the radiology department.
Coordinate with radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Maintain and apply knowledge of radiation safety measures to protect patients and staff.
Participate in the development and implementation of departmental protocols and standards of care.
Assist in the use of a variety of radiological equipment and technology.
Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding radiological procedures and associated care.
Lead and mentor junior nursing staff and contribute to their professional development.
Ensure documentation and record keeping comply with legal and hospital policy requirements.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain knowledge of the latest advancements in radiology nursing.
