The Accounting Manager will oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, manage the financial reporting and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This role requires a meticulous eye for detail, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to improve process efficiency.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required (Master’s preferred).
Proven working experience as an Accounting Manager or Finance Manager.
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
Experience with creating financial statements.
Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process.
Proficient in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel).
Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and counsel on financial affairs of the organization.
Ensure timely month and end-year close processes, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury and budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis.
Coordinate and complete annual audits, provide recommendations for procedural improvements.
Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce accurate financial reports or statements.
Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
Improve systems and procedures, and initiate corrective actions where necessary.
Meet financial accounting objectives, prepare and recommend budgets for approval.
Manage accounting staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations, and appraising their performance.
