Summary of the Role
As a Maternal-Child Nurse Practitioner, you will specialize in the comprehensive healthcare of women and children, focusing on obstetrics, gynecology, neonatal and pediatric healthcare. You will work closely with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care to your patients.

Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or equivalent with a specialization in maternal-child health, pediatrics, or family practice.
Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the relevant specialty.
2-5 years of clinical experience with a focus on maternal and pediatric care.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
Eligibility for state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner.
Responsibilities
Conducting routine check-ups and assessments for pregnant women and children.
Managing the healthcare of postpartum mothers and their newborns.
Educating families about maternal and child health, including nutrition, breastfeeding, and child development.
Coordinating with healthcare providers to ensure integrated care plans for mothers and children.
Monitoring and managing health conditions specific to women and children, such as gestational diabetes or developmental milestones.
Providing vaccinations and preventive care for children.
Supporting women during labor and delivery, and providing postnatal care.
