Summary of the Role
As a Wildlife Conservation Officer, you will be responsible for protecting and managing wildlife populations, enforcing wildlife laws, and promoting conservation efforts. Working in a variety of outdoor settings, you will engage with the public to educate them on wildlife and habitat protection, perform wildlife population surveys, and respond to wildlife-related incidents.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in wildlife management, environmental science, biology, or a related field.
2 to 5 years of relevant work experience in wildlife conservation or law enforcement.
Knowledge of local and federal wildlife and conservation laws.
Physical fitness and ability to work in various outdoor environments.
Valid driver's license and ability to operate various vehicles and equipment.
Responsibilities
Patrol assigned areas to prevent poaching and enforce wildlife laws.
Investigate reports of wildlife-related violations and take appropriate enforcement action.
Conduct wildlife population and habitat surveys to monitor health and numbers.
Educate the public on wildlife conservation and safe wildlife interaction.
Assist in the development and implementation of conservation management plans.
Respond to wildlife emergencies, such as animal injuries or human-wildlife conflicts.
Collaborate with other conservation officers and organizations in conservation efforts.
Maintain accurate records of activities and incidents for reporting purposes.
