Summary of the Role
An Insolvency Paralegal provides support to attorneys by managing insolvency-related documentation, conducting legal research, and assisting with case preparation for bankruptcies and financial restructurings. The role requires a deep understanding of bankruptcy law and procedure, as well as strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Responsibilities
Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, trials, and client meetings related to insolvency cases.
Manage and organize case documents, including filing and retrieval of documents from courts or public record sources.
Conduct legal research and summarize findings to support case strategies.
Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and affidavits under the supervision of an attorney.
Communicate with clients, creditors, court personnel, and other stakeholders to gather information and coordinate case activities.
Monitor case progress and maintain detailed case files.
Stay updated on changes in bankruptcy laws and regulations.
Support the legal team with ad-hoc administrative tasks as required.
