Summary of the Role
As a Financial Reporting Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing our company's financial reporting processes. This position requires a deep understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles, and reporting requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all financial statements and reports, including quarterly and annual reports, while leading a team of finance professionals.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent financial certification.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial reporting and/or public accounting.
Experience with large, complex financial reporting systems.
Proven knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting, and other financial regulations.
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Advanced knowledge of Excel and other financial analysis tools.
Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and to influence senior management.
Responsibilities
Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial statements in compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors and managing internal resources.
Manage the consolidation of financial data for reporting purposes, and ensure its accuracy and completeness.
Design, implement, and maintain internal controls and processes related to financial reporting to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Analyze financial data and reports to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
Provide leadership and direction to the finance team members responsible for financial reporting.
Assist with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes in collaboration with other departments.
Provide technical financial advice and knowledge to others within the financial discipline.
Collaborate with IT and systems teams to ensure the effective operation of financial reporting systems and the integrity of financial data.
Communicate financial results and insights to executive management and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
