Summary of the Role
As an intermediate electrophysiologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating irregular heart rhythms, using advanced techniques to perform electrophysiology studies and interventions. You will be part of a heart care team, working closely with other cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient care in clinical and hospital settings.

Qualifications
Medical degree (MD) from an accredited institution.
Completion of residency in internal medicine.
Completion of a fellowship in cardiovascular disease, with a focus on electrophysiology.
Valid medical license to practice in the relevant state.
Board certification or eligibility in cardiovascular disease and clinical cardiac electrophysiology.
Proven track record of performing electrophysiology studies and procedures.
Prior experience with cardiac device management.
Experience in a clinical or hospital setting post-fellowship.
Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently.
Responsibilities
Conduct electrophysiology studies to diagnose arrhythmias and other electrical issues of the heart.
Perform catheter ablations to treat cardiac arrhythmias.
Implant and manage cardiac devices such as pacemakers and defibrillators.
Interpret data from cardiac monitoring devices and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive cardiac care.
Engage in patient education regarding their conditions and the treatments they will undergo.
Participate in the development of treatment protocols and clinical research studies.
Stay up-to-date with advancements in electrophysiology and related areas.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and medical regulations.
Provide support and training to junior staff and medical students.
