Seeking an experienced Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive care to adult patients in a dynamic health care setting. Qualifications
Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) and certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) with a specialization in internal medicine
Current, unrestricted state license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner
Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an internal medicine or related setting
DEA certification and prescriptive authority
CPR and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments and physical examinations of patients
Formulate diagnostic and treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions
Prescribe medications, therapies, and necessary interventions
Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests and lab results
Educate patients on disease prevention and positive health and lifestyle choices
Collaborate with health care teams to ensure continuity of patient care
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
Participate in ongoing continuing education and professional development
