Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with patients and medical staff.

Certification as a Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) or equivalent is preferred.
Responsibilities
Manage and organize medical records in both electronic and paper form, ensuring patient confidentiality.
Coordinate appointments, surgeries, and meetings for healthcare professionals.
Serve as a liaison between patients, medical staff, and other departments within the healthcare facility.
Handle patient inquiries and communications with tact and discretion.
Prepare correspondence, reports, and other documents as required by medical staff.
Process billing and insurance claims, and handle financial transactions related to patient care.
Maintain stock and order medical and office supplies as needed.
Assist in the implementation of healthcare policies and procedures.
Oversee the work of junior administrative staff and provide training as needed.
