Summary of the Role
As a senior insurance claims adjuster, you will be responsible for handling complex claims and providing mentorship to less experienced adjusters. You will utilize your extensive knowledge of policy coverage, claim processes, and negotiation to manage, investigate, and resolve claims efficiently and fairly.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
Experience with claims software and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Responsibilities
Lead the prompt and efficient handling of complex insurance claims to determine coverage and liability.
Conduct thorough investigations by collecting and analyzing information through various means including interviews, documents, and on-site inspections.
Mentor and support less experienced claims adjusters, providing guidance on best practices and problem solving.
Evaluate and negotiate claim settlements in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of claims, decisions, and payments.
Collaborate with legal counsel on claims requiring litigation and represent the company in legal proceedings as needed.
Stay up-to-date with current industry regulations, trends, and technologies affecting claims adjustment.
