Summary of the Role
As a Digital Forensics Expert, you will be responsible for investigating cybercrimes and analyzing digital data to help law enforcement agencies, corporations, and law firms in determining the details of electronic crimes. Your role will involve the collection, preservation, analysis, and reporting of digital evidence.

Experience with digital forensic tools (e.g., EnCase, FTK, Cellebrite).
Understanding of legal processes and ability to serve as an expert witness.
In-depth knowledge of various operating systems, file systems, and network protocols.
Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
Responsibilities
Conduct digital evidence collection and preservation in line with standard operating procedures.
Analyze information from computers, networks, mobile devices, and other data storage devices.
Work closely with legal teams to prepare evidence for use in legal proceedings and trials.
Stay updated with advancements in technology and digital forensic methods.
Provide expert witness testimony in court when necessary.
Assist in the development of digital forensic capabilities and tools.
Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate cyber threats.
Document findings in detailed reports and maintain chain of custody for all evidence handled.
