Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, or related field.
Board certified in Medical Oncology with a specialization in molecular genetics or a related subspecialty.
A minimum of 5 years of post-fellowship experience in a clinical or research setting focused on oncology.
Proven track record of independent research and publications in molecular oncology.
Experience with next-generation sequencing (NGS), PCR, and other molecular diagnostic techniques.
Experience in the development and oversight of clinical trials.
Responsibilities
Lead research initiatives to understand the molecular genetics of different types of cancer.
Develop and validate molecular diagnostics assays for cancer detection, prognostication, and monitoring.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to tailor personalized treatment strategies based on molecular findings.
