As a Junior Hospice Nurse Practitioner, you will provide compassionate care and support to patients with life-limiting illnesses and their families. Qualifications
Current and unrestricted nursing license as a Nurse Practitioner.
Master's degree in Nursing or a related field.
Completion of a hospice and palliative care nurse practitioner program or equivalent education.
Eligible for certification as a hospice and palliative nurse practitioner.
Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine their medical needs and the appropriate level of care.
Collaborate with the hospice care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Manage symptoms and provide pain relief for patients in accordance with their care plans.
Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and families facing end-of-life issues.
Educate patients and families about illness progression, management of symptoms, and end-of-life care options.
Document patient care in a timely and accurate manner, in accordance with hospice policies and regulations.
