Summary of the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Systems Safety Engineer to ensure that all our system processes are conducted safely and comply with relevant standards. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and mitigating risks, performing safety analysis, and ensuring the highest levels of system safety in our projects. This role requires extensive knowledge and experience in system safety engineering in a highly technical and regulated environment.

Proven track record of conducting safety analyses and implementing safety measures.
Familiarity with safety standards such as ISO 26262, IEC 61508, or DO-178.
Experience in the aerospace, automotive, or similar highly regulated industries.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough system safety assessments to identify potential hazards.
Develop and implement safety measures and procedures.
Lead safety analysis activities like Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Hazard Operability Analysis (HAZOP).
Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate safety requirements into system designs.
Prepare safety reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and regulations.
Conduct regular safety audits and propose improvements.
Provide safety training and guidance to engineering teams.
Keep current with emerging safety trends and technologies.
