Summary of the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to provide advanced nursing care for newborns who require high levels of medical attention. The NNP will work closely with neonatologists, pediatricians, and the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) team to deliver comprehensive care to premature infants and newborns facing serious health challenges.

Qualifications
Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization in neonatal care.
Current Nurse Practitioner license and certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner.
Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a NICU or similar setting.
CPR and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
Eligibility to obtain state licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN).
Responsibilities
Provide primary care for neonates, including routine assessments and emergency interventions.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans for high-risk newborns.
Educate and support families regarding their infant's condition, care, and treatments.
Manage ventilators and other life support systems for critically ill infants.
Conduct and interpret diagnostic tests to assess newborns' health status.
Participate in patient rounds, providing updates and insights on patient progress.
Prescribe medication and monitor their effects on newborn patients.
Contribute to NICU protocols and guidelines to ensure quality of care.
