Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Experience with tax return software and proficient in the use of technology.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to convey complex tax concepts to non-tax professionals.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities
Lead the preparation and review of tax returns for various types of entities, including corporations, partnerships, and individuals.
Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients, identifying opportunities for tax optimization.
Stay current with tax legislation and effectively communicate changes and impacts to both clients and the internal team.
Collaborate with other departments to integrate tax advice with other financial planning services.
Mentor and develop junior staff, including providing on-the-job training and feedback.
Manage client relations, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and identifying opportunities for expanding services.
Handle complex tax research and provide solutions to tax issues faced by clients.
Contribute to the development and implementation of internal tax policies and procedures.
Participate in business development activities to attract new clients and engagements.
