Summary of the Role
As an experienced Radiology Technician, you will be an integral part of the diagnostic team, providing expert radiographic services and patient care in a healthcare setting. You will utilize your technical skills to operate imaging equipment and produce high-quality images for medical diagnosis while ensuring a safe environment for both patients and staff.

Qualifications
Associate's or bachelor's degree in radiologic technology or a related field
Valid and current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
State licensure as required
2-5 years of professional experience as a Radiology Technician
Strong understanding of radiologic safety and protocols
BLS certification or ability to obtain certification
Excellent patient care and communication skills
Responsibilities
Operate and maintain radiologic imaging equipment, including X-ray, MRI, and CT machines
Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, explaining processes, and ensuring patient comfort
Position patients and equipment correctly to capture the necessary images
Adjust imaging parameters optimally for each examination to ensure clear images
Follow physicians' orders accurately and comply with hospital or clinical procedures and protocols
Ensure radiation safety measures are in place and adhered to for each procedure
Work closely with radiologists to determine the proper examination and assist in interpreting images
Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures performed
Stay current with advancements in radiology and participate in professional development
Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to provide a seamless patient experience
