Summary of the Role
As a Senior Vehicle Dynamics Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, analysis, and optimization of vehicle dynamics to enhance vehicle performance, safety, and comfort. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop advanced simulation models, conduct tests, and integrate new technologies into vehicle systems. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, physics, and control theory, as well as experience with vehicle dynamics software.
Required Skills
Advanced knowledge of vehicle dynamics theory and applications.
Proficiency in simulation and modeling tools (e.g., CarSim, Adams).
Strong analytical skills for data analysis and model validation.
Experience with programming and scripting in MATLAB or Python for data processing.

Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in vehicle dynamics or a closely related field.
Proven track record of successful vehicle dynamics projects and simulations.
Experience with vehicle dynamics software tools such as CarSim, Adams, or similar.
Familiarity with data analysis and processing tools like MATLAB or Python.
Understanding of chassis systems and components (suspension, steering, brakes, tires).
Experience with active safety systems and autonomous driving technologies.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
Lead the development and tuning of vehicle dynamic models and simulations for new vehicle platforms.
Analyze vehicle performance data to identify improvements in handling, stability, and ride comfort.
Work with the engineering team to design and test suspension, steering, and braking systems.
Collaborate with control engineers to integrate active safety and autonomous driving features.
Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies in vehicle dynamics and apply cutting-edge solutions to ongoing projects.
Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and support their growth within the team.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including presenting findings and recommendations to senior management.
