Seeking a compassionate and dedicated Junior Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist to provide specialized care in the diagnosis and treatment of blood disorders and cancer in children and adolescents. Qualifications
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school and completion of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology fellowship.
Eligible for board certification in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology.
Valid state medical license and DEA certification.
Strong understanding of the pathophysiology of blood disorders and pediatric cancers.
Ability to work with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an emphasis on compassion for pediatric patients.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat pediatric blood disorders and cancers, including conducting thorough patient evaluations and treatment planning.
Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care.
Participate in rounds, team meetings, and consultations with other specialists to ensure coordinated and effective care.
Keep abreast of the latest clinical trials and evidence-based practices in pediatric hematology and oncology.
Engage with patients and their families to provide education regarding medical conditions, treatment plans, and overall care.
Assist in the development and implementation of protocols and guidelines for pediatric hematology and oncology services.
