Pass state background check and possibly a federal background check.
Responsibilities
Conduct assessments to identify the needs of children and families.
Develop and implement service plans that address safety, permanency, and wellbeing of children.
Maintain case records with accurate and timely documentation of activities.
Monitor children's placements and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Work collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to coordinate services.
Assist in family reunification or facilitate alternative placement solutions as needed.
Provide support and advocacy for children during court proceedings.
Educate families on available resources and assist them in accessing services.
Respond to crisis situations and provide immediate intervention as required.
