Summary of the Role
As an intermediate Air Traffic Controller, you will be responsible for managing the flow of air traffic in the immediate vicinity of an airport and the broader airspace. Your role is crucial for the safety and efficiency of air travel, coordinating the movement of aircraft on the ground and in the sky. You will work with flight crews, provide information and guidance, and make critical decisions to prevent collisions and handle unexpected events.

Qualifications
Completion of an FAA-accredited Air Traffic Collegiate Training Initiative (AT-CTI) program or equivalent military experience.
Certified by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as an Air Traffic Controller.
2-5 years of experience as an Air Traffic Controller with a solid track record.
Pass a medical examination, including drug screening and background checks.
Possess a current Air Traffic Control Tower Operator Certificate or equivalent.
Meet the FAA's English Language Standard for communication.
Responsibilities
Monitor and direct the movement of aircraft on the ground and through controlled airspace.
Issue landing and takeoff instructions to pilots.
Provide weather updates, airfield conditions, and other critical information to aircraft.
Manage communications effectively by responding to pilots' requests and providing clear directives.
Coordinate with other controllers and airport personnel to ensure the safe and efficient flow of traffic.
Utilize radar equipment and other advanced systems to track aircraft positions.
Anticipate potential issues and make quick decisions to resolve conflicts between aircraft.
Ensure compliance with all aviation regulations and procedures.
