This role involves working closely with athletes, coaches, and sports organizations to develop tailored strategies for mental health and peak performance.

Qualifications
Master's or Doctorate degree in Psychology, preferably with a specialization in sports psychology.
2-5 years of applied experience working with athletes or sports teams.
Certification from a recognized sports psychology body is advantageous.
Demonstrated ability to create and implement effective mental conditioning programs.
Experience in conducting workshops and training sessions.
Responsibilities
Evaluate athletes' mental and emotional needs and create tailored mental conditioning programs.
Collaborate with coaches and trainers to integrate psychological strategies into training regimens.
Guide athletes through recovery from injuries, including managing their mental rehabilitation.
Conduct workshops on stress management, visualization and mental preparedness.
Monitor athletes' progress and adjust psychological strategies accordingly.
Assist with goal setting, self-talk strategies, and managing competitive pressure.
Provide one-on-one counseling services to athletes as needed.
Perform research on sports psychology and stay up-to-date with new methods and techniques.
