As an Editorial Assistant, you will be supporting senior editorial staff in all aspects of the administration, commissioning, planning, and producing of various publications. Understanding of the publication process and industry standards.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
Assist in the development and finalization of content for publication.
Support senior editors with research, proofreading, and fact checking.
Coordinate with writers, freelance contributors, and other staff.
Manage the workflow of manuscripts, from submission to publication.
Participate in editorial meetings and contribute to content strategies.
Maintain records for tracking article submissions and deadlines.
Prepare and edit manuscripts in line with publication standards.
Collaborate with the production team to ensure timely publication.
Assist with social media content and other media-related tasks.
