Summary of the Role
As a senior Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process within a company and ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently. You'll work closely with department leads to manage staff, resources, and workflows to meet production targets and maintain quality standards.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Industrial Management, or a related field.
Proven work experience as a Production Manager or similar role.
In-depth knowledge of production management and quality standards.
Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise.
Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) credential or similar is preferred.
Working knowledge of performance/operations metrics.
Responsibilities
Oversee the production process, coordinating all production activities and operations.
Plan and draw up a production schedule.
Assess project and resource requirements and allocate resources accordingly.
Monitor productivity rates and product standards and implement quality control programs.
Ensure customer orders are completed on time and to budget and that quality standards and targets are met.
Work with managers to implement the company's policies and goals.
Monitor production to resolve issues and endorse preventative measures.
Supervise and evaluate the performance of production personnel (quality inspectors, workers, etc.).
Determine and implement improvements to the production process.
Prepare and maintain production reports and personnel records.
