Summary of the Role
As a Crisis Counselor, you will play a crucial role in providing immediate support and intervention for individuals experiencing emotional distress, crisis situations, or mental health issues. You are expected to engage with clients through various communication channels, delivering empathetic, non-judgmental support, and working collaboratively with a team to ensure the safety and well-being of clients.

Qualifications

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain calm and professionalism under pressure.
Responsibilities
Provide immediate telephonic or in-person counseling to individuals in crisis, assessing their emotional, psychological, and safety needs.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, when necessary, to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines and standards of practice.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to stay current with best practices in crisis intervention.
Document all client interactions and interventions accurately and in a timely manner.
Develop and maintain resource knowledge for client referrals and support.
