Summary of the Role
As a Food Process Engineer, you are expected to apply principles of engineering to the design, development, and operational evaluation of processes and systems for processing and storing food products. This role includes the application of safety and quality standards, process optimization, and the development of new process technologies to enhance productivity and efficiency within the food industry.

Proven track record of implementing successful process improvements within the food manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Design and implement process improvements and equipment upgrades to optimize production efficiency and ensure product quality.
Develop and optimize processes for the production of new food products, maintaining a focus on safety and sustainability.
Work closely with R&D and quality assurance teams to integrate new products into production lines.
Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and cross-functional teams to implement processing technology and equipment.
Analyze data to identify trends and solve complex problems related to food processing operations.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards for food safety and hygiene.
Conduct risk assessments and implement strategies to reduce potential environmental impact of food processing operations.
Assist in training staff on new technologies and processes to ensure consistent product quality and safety.
