Summary of the Role
As a Safety Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring that safety regulations are followed and that the working environment is secure for employees. Your role will include identifying hazards, implementing safety protocols, and educating staff on safety measures to prevent accidents and promote health and safety in the workplace.

Ability to produce and present reports.
Experience with conducting safety audits and risk assessments.
Responsibilities
Conducting risk assessments and identifying potential hazards in the workplace.
Developing and implementing safety policies and procedures in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Organizing and conducting safety training sessions for employees.
Inspecting equipment and machinery to ensure they meet safety regulations.
Investigating accidents and incidents to identify their causes and to determine how they might be prevented in the future.
Maintaining records of inspections, incidents, and any other safety-related events.
Staying up to date with new legislation and developments in health and safety standards.
Collaborating with management to develop and implement safety initiatives and improvements.
