Responsibilities
Collect waste and recyclable materials from assigned routes and transport to disposal sites.
Operate waste collection vehicles safely, following all traffic laws and company policies.
Lift and empty trash containers, bags, and other waste receptacles into the collection vehicle.
Report any issues with waste bins, routes, or unsafe conditions to the supervisor immediately.
Follow scheduled collection routes in a timely and efficient manner.
Maintain the cleanliness and operability of the collection vehicle.
Adhere to health and safety regulations to minimize risks associated with waste handling.
Assist in sorting recyclable materials at collection facilities as needed.
