Summary of the Role
The Grid Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and strategy of the power grid to ensure consistent and reliable energy supply. They will lead a team to manage the grid infrastructure, handle emergency response plans, and coordinate with various stakeholders.

Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
Project management certification (PMP, Prince2, or equivalent) is an asset.
Responsibilities
Supervise the daily operations of the electricity grid to ensure reliability and efficiency.
Develop and implement grid management strategies to meet future energy demands.
Manage the maintenance and upgrade schedules for grid infrastructure to optimize performance.
Serve as the chief liaison between various stakeholders, including government agencies, regulatory bodies, utility companies, and the public.
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies and regulations.
Lead emergency response initiatives during outages or natural disasters, coordinating restoration efforts strategically.
Prepare and manage the operational budget, cost analysis, and performance reports for the grid system.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the operational team.
