Summary of the Role
As a senior marine engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and maintenance of marine vessels, structures, and related marine systems. You will work on a diverse range of projects that could include commercial ships, submarines, sailboats, tankers, and even offshore platforms. Your expertise will ensure that all engineering projects not only meet design standards, but also adhere to safety, environmental and budgetary constraints.

At least 5 years of experience in the marine engineering industry, with a track record of successful project leadership.
Experience with marine software such as AutoCAD, Rhino, Orca3D, and other engineering software.
Broad knowledge of marine systems, structures, materials, and compliance standards.
Proven ability to manage complex projects and cross-functional engineering teams.
Responsibilities
Lead and oversee the design, development, and implementation of marine engineering projects.
Manage multidisciplinary teams to ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget.
Conduct advanced engineering analyses to support the integrity and performance of marine structures and vessels.
Assure quality control and compliance with all regulatory body requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitor and predict operational and maintenance needs for marine vehicles and equipment.
Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and other engineering departments to provide expert advice and problem resolution.
Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for marine operations.
Stay updated on industry trends, technological advances, and best practices in the field of marine engineering.
