A Senior Architect is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and overseeing the construction of buildings and structures. They work on public or private projects and are pivotal in every stage of the development process. Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture
Licensed as an architect in the state of practice
Proven working experience as a licensed architect, with a portfolio of completed projects
Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards
Understanding of all phases of architectural design and construction
Responsibilities
Lead and develop projects from early concept through design development
Prepare drawings, specifications, and construction documents
Design and document commercial and industrial building projects
Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams, including managing the work of consultants
Lead client presentations and meetings
Ensure all documentation is prepared in line with building codes and legislation
Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets
