Summary of the Role
A Laboratory Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring that laboratory processes and documentation comply with industry standards, regulations, and quality assurance practices. A Junior Compliance Specialist will assist in the development and implementation of compliance programs, perform routine inspections, and learn to identify and mitigate compliance risks within the laboratory environment.

Qualifications

Ability to synthesize and analyze information from a variety of sources.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining internal compliance policies and procedures.
Perform routine laboratory audits to ensure adherence to regulations and standards.
Maintain updated knowledge of applicable laws, guidelines, and standards affecting the laboratory operations.
Support the compliance team in the preparation of internal and external audits.
Document compliance activities and create reports on audit findings.
Communicate with laboratory staff to reinforce compliance with regulatory requirements.
Participate in training sessions to better understand regulatory compliance issues.
