Summary of the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Fitness Trainer to lead and inspire clients in achieving their fitness and health goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fitness instruction, personal training, and nutrition, as well as a passion for helping others improve their physical well-being. As a self-motivated professional, the Senior Fitness Trainer will develop personalized training programs, provide expert guidance on proper exercise techniques, and promote a positive and energetic environment.
Required Skills
Extensive knowledge of exercise science, biomechanics, and nutrition.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to tailor exercise programs to a diverse client base.
Proficient in the use of gym equipment and fitness technology tools.
Highly motivated with a positive attitude and strong leadership skills.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science or related field.
Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) through a recognized certifying body (e.g., ACSM, NSCA, NASM, ACE).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in personal training or fitness instruction.
Proven track record of successful client results.
CPR/AED and First Aid certifications.
Responsibilities
Conduct fitness assessments to establish client fitness levels and health goals.
Create individualized exercise programs tailored to the needs and objectives of each client.
Demonstrate and instruct clients on proper exercise techniques and use of gym equipment to minimize the risk of injury.
Monitor client progress and adjust exercise plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
Provide motivational coaching and support to help clients stay committed to their fitness plans.
Maintain a safe and clean workout environment, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
Stay up-to-date with the latest fitness trends, techniques, and nutrition advice to provide clients with the best possible guidance.
Lead group training sessions and workshops when applicable.
