Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate all airfield operations to ensure safety and efficiency.
Inspect runways, taxiways, and ramps for compliance with safety regulations.
Coordinate with air traffic control to manage air traffic flow and minimize delays.
Implement emergency procedures and manage airfield operations during emergency situations.
Administer training programs for airfield operations staff.
Conduct safety audits and risk assessments to maintain high safety standards.
Communicate effectively with flight crew, maintenance teams, and other airport personnel.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of aviation regulations and changes in the industry.
Oversee wildlife hazard management programs to prevent aircraft-wildlife collisions.
Manage airside vehicle operations and ensure all drivers are properly trained and certified.
