Summary of the Role
As a Food Safety Regulatory Advisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that our organization complies with all local, state, and federal food safety regulations. You will serve as an expert in understanding and communicating regulatory requirements to stakeholders, conducting internal audits, and recommending improvements to our food safety management systems.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Microbiology, or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in food safety or a regulatory role within the food industry.
Knowledge of HACCP, FDA, USDA, and other relevant food safety regulations.
Experience with conducting audits and managing food safety management systems.
Certification in food safety such as ServSafe, HACCP, or equivalent.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Responsibilities
Review and interpret food safety regulations and ensure compliance throughout the organization.
Advise on best practices in food safety and help develop policies and procedures to minimize risk.
Conduct internal audits and monitor food handling and production processes for compliance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement regulatory changes as required.
Manage documentation related to food safety regulations and certifications.
Provide training to staff on regulatory requirements and food safety standards.
Stay up-to-date with changes in food safety laws and regulations, and inform the necessary departments of any changes.
Assist in the preparation for third-party food safety audits and inspections.
Address non-compliance issues and participate in developing corrective action plans.
