Summary of the Role
As a Nutrition Scientist, you will be integral in conducting research and generating evidence-based insights to contribute to the development of nutritional products, dietary guidelines, and health promotion strategies. This role requires a combination of scientific expertise, analytical skills, and a passion for improving public health through nutrition.
Required Skills

Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and regulatory compliance related to nutrition research

Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition Science, Dietetics, Biochemistry, or a related field.
At least 2 years of relevant research experience in nutrition science.
Proven track record of published research in peer-reviewed journals.
Familiarity with current dietary guidelines and nutrition policies.
Experience in conducting and analyzing clinical trials or human nutrition studies.
Strong analytical and statistical skills, including proficiency with statistical software.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive research studies on various nutrition topics, including macro and micronutrient analysis, dietary patterns, and the relationship between diet and chronic diseases.
Develop and validate methods for the assessment of nutritional compounds in food samples.
Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, including dietitians, healthcare providers, and food technologists, to develop innovative nutritional solutions.
Analyze data using statistical software and present findings in scientific journals, conferences, and to stakeholders.
Stay current with the latest research in the field of nutrition science and apply new knowledge to ongoing projects.
Contribute to the formulation of evidence-based dietary guidelines and public health policies.
Assist in the design and implementation of clinical trials and other human studies to test the efficacy of nutritional interventions.
Provide expertise in nutrition for product development teams, ensuring that new products meet health and nutrition objectives.
