Summary of the Role
As a Junior Sports Public Relations Manager, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining a favorable public image for athletes, teams, and organizations within the sports industry by communicating programs, accomplishments, and/or points of view. This role involves a combination of marketing skills and knowledge of the sports industry to engage with media, fans, and the sports community.

Responsibilities
Assist in developing and implementing PR strategies to promote the image and brand of athletes, teams, or sports organizations.
Draft press releases, media alerts, and social media content related to sports events and news.
Coordinate with the media to arrange interviews and press conferences.
Monitor media coverage and sports trends to inform PR strategies.
Maintain relationships with sports journalists, bloggers, and influencers.
Assist in planning and managing PR events such as press launches, public appearances, and charitable activities.
Compile and distribute media kits and promotional materials.
Help manage crisis communication and respond to negative publicity.
